so i guess before i burry myself in my books, i'd like to write a little something.
oh it contains naruto spoilers, so don't continue reading if you want to read it own your own.
lately, i've been thinking, oh and this is all because of aerosmith's song. haha. yeah, i've been thinking, when people say "i'd die for you", how much would they actually go? i know this topic really isn't that important but seriously, it makes me wonder. we all know that ngomong tuh gampang, tapi when you're faced with a situation where you're supposed to choose your life's or your partner's, will you really bow down that much to love and sacrifice your own?
this is something i really can't answer since i've never been in this situation.
yesterday i continued reading naruto (i missed naruto sooooooooo much), and it was getting really seru. jadi ceritanya lagi naruto vs pain gt, trus tiba2 si hinata dateng trus sok2 mau nyelametin naruto gt. hahaaa. she kinda confessed her feelings and was all ready to die for him. well, i think that part was agak2 ngek si. i really wasn't expecting and romantic drama between a battle such as naruto vs pain. haha
but that's not what really hit me when i read naruto yesterday. what hit me was the part where naruto and pain were fighting and all that, and naruto told pain how he wants to destroy him and make peace and so on and so on. then pain just laughed and said. there's no such thing as 'peace'. he also wants to make peace, but he knows it's impossible. so he came up with his own concept of peace. in order to fulfill this, he needs all the demons he's collecting, including the nine tailed demon inside naruto so that he could make a destructive weapon stronger than any other. once it is done, people will feel threatened by the weapon therefore making not a single soul on earth who still dares to make riot. then peace is formed, peace under the name of fear. eventually, people will get use to the fear and maybe find a way to overcome the weapon but at least "peace" was successfully formed for quite a time. and that is the closest to real peace as anyone can get.
i think that part of the story was really great.
how much of you peace really has a chance? i mean, i wish i could believe in peace but i wouldn't conflicts always happen and keep happening until the end of time?
i once read on postsecret a secret that says something in the lines of "i believe peace has a chance"
whoever sent in that secret, i admire your spunk and i hope your belief is enough to cover all our doubts
